Never too much..

It’s an Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros kind of day. Ever since I’ve been practically living at my desk, Pandora and I have been like super tight. I even considered upgrading to Pandora One with the desktop app and everything. I thought we might be moving too fast and decided to pump the breaks. I mean I love Pandora, but they’ll cut you off nowadays at 40 hours then ask for a minimal (but credit card number needed) .99. I paid it, but today I decided to dive into my iTunes. I’ve been neglecting my own music library. We needed to rekindle our relationship.

So, here I am listening to Mr. Sharpe and his friends when I started thinking how many of them there are. It’s a band of 11+ members. Whoa. Talk about strength in numbers. But then I realized, you can never have too much of a good thing. It’s cliche, but seriously. You can never have too many shoes. You can never have too many seasons of Sex in the City or Grey’s Anatomy. You definitely can’t have too many muscians playing for you at once while you’re hard at work. Go Eddie and The Zeros, Go!

I love layering. I’m huge fan of mixing silver and gold. I know it used to be a fashion faux pas back in the day, but let’s admit it. If you love a piece of jewelry, you should wear it.

I’m loving our antique brass and antique silver finished sentiments. They remind me of a set of Indian laterns I have in my house. I’m loving the gold and yellow tones mixed with the silver embellishments.

When you wake up in the morning and whatever you throw on, choose something that fits your mood and sets your sights in the right direction. Remember those things you can never have too much of.. laughing, good R&R, and barefeet on a summer night. Lather on the splendid and revel in excess.
